In the late 1990s, our founder Mark Husey saw a shift in IT recruitment. As consolidation reshaped the industry, depth of expertise was being replaced by volume. Specialist markets were becoming transactional.
When the corporate acquisition of the firm he worked for confirmed that direction of travel, he made a decision: to build something different.
From day one, Sentinel was designed around market knowledge. Consultants were expected to understand the technologies they recruited for, the industries they operated in, and the commercial realities their clients faced.
We were not built to be CV brokers.
We were built to be specialists.
That philosophy still defines us today. Over twenty-five years on, our focus remains the same: informed, sector-led recruitment delivered by people who know their markets inside out.
