Henry Lee

I joined Sentinel as a trainee in 1999 and never looked back. Twenty-five years on, my conviction is the same as it was then: recruitment is about people, and so am I.

As CEO, that means being close to our clients -  understanding how their talent needs are shifting as we pivot Sentinel towards the industries shaping the next decade: technology, energy, commodities, financial services, life sciences, and consulting. It also means investing in our teams across the UK, Switzerland, Czechia, Ireland, and the US, from trainee recruiters to senior leaders.

Outside work, food is central to my life. I grew up in Chinese restaurants, my partner is French (hence my très courageux attempts at the language), and some of my best conversations - with clients and colleagues alike - happen around a good meal.
